What is mental health?

Mental health is just as important as our physical health. It encompasses our emotional and mental well-being, our psychological resistance to challenges and crises (resilience), our ability to maintain healthy interpersonal relationships, our cognitive functions (clarity of thought, concentration and problem-solving skills) and our self-esteem, i.e. a positive self-image and confidence in our own abilities. Mental health significantly influences our physical well-being, determines our performance in everyday life and at work and has a significant impact on social relationships and general "happiness in life".

Painting therapy is a creative process in which your own experiences can be expanded through the spontaneous use of colors and shapes. Inner strengths and resources can be discovered, allowing new solutions to emerge for one's own life. The most important thing here is that feelings are expressed without words, i.e. non-verbally, through self-created images or works.

Mind-body medicine - connecting body, mind and soul

Mind-body medicine is a modern therapeutic approach from the USA. Mind-body methods work on the body, mind and spirit. It is about being mindful of yourself and feeling exactly what is good for you and what is not. The focus is on self-awareness and the resulting self-care. The aim is to know your own resources and use them mindfully.
